How to build your own Future Department

In a world where the future makes change hit faster and harder, the old way was to outsource their future.  The new way will require every organization to have its own Future Department, a dedicated capability for anticipating change, shaping direction, designing the future, and acting early.  In this keynote, Henrik reveals how to move beyond ad-hoc foresight projects and create a living, breathing future practice inside your organization.  He shows how to design a Future Department that is fast, practical, and integrated, not a distant think tank, but a core driver of strategy and innovation.  It will be inspiring, entertaining, and a little provocative with a few good hands-on tricks for using the future to your advantage.

The Elephant in the Room - Engaging with the Unsaid in Groups and Organizations
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM is about what we notice but do not act on. It’s the obvious problem or controversial issue that everyone notices but avoids discussing because it’s uncomfortable, embarrassing or may cause potential conflict. The elephant in the room gets in the way, and it’s difficult to deal with until someone points at it and says, ‘There it is, let’s take a look at it and reduce its impact.’  In this talk, Lotte Svalgaard addresses how we can best deal with the elephants in groups and organizations and thus promote well-being, creativity and performance at work.
